HADDONFIELD NJ - Haddonfield is slated to kick off the holiday season with its annual tree lighting ceremony this weekend, complete with a Santa parade and musical entertainment, borough officials said.

The borough-sponsored holiday tree lighting in Downtown Haddonfield is scheduled for Nov. 25 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., according to a municipal notice.

The annual event is set to feature a Santa Parade to Kings Court, Carolers, the Hampton Brass Band and extended shopping hours, the borough said.

Weekend festivities will continue on Small Business Saturday with horse-drawn carriage rides from noon to 3 p.m. and carolers.

Candlelight Shopping will also take place in Downtown Haddonfield every Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. from Nov. 25 through Dec. 16 with a special storytime event with Mrs. Claus in Kings Court.

Parking will be free in Downtown Haddonfield from Thanksgiving through Christmas Day, the borough said.
