Haddonfield Police: Two Brothers Arrested for Theft

Two Cherry Hill men are arrested in an alleged car burglary.

Two Cherry Hill men were arrested and charged with a burglary to a borough vehicle, Haddonfield police said.

Justin T. Hudnell, 24, and Joel Sabastian Hudnell, 20, both of Bancroft Road in Cherry Hill, were arrested at their home on Oct. 17 after allegedly burglarizing a car in the 600 block of Cedar Ave. the night before.

A stolen credit card from the theft was traced to the pair after purchases they allegedly made. Fifteen-hundred dollars in cash was also reported stolen from a wallet in the unlocked car. The report did not mention if the money was recovered.

In other police news, a resident in the 600 block of Farragut Ave. reported a burglary to their unlocked vehicle on Oct. 26. The glove compartment was ransacked but nothing was taken.

A resident in the 700 block of Grove St. reported jewelry missing from her bedroom on Oct. 15 after an open house by a real-estate agent. The Realtor reported a suspicious women visited during the two hours of the open house and tried to distract the agent. The agent said the woman was briefly alone in the house. No arrest has been reported.

A resident in the 700 block of Estaugh Ave. reported hearing a noise which sounded like several gunshots on Oct. 7. The caller said they saw flashes of light reflected off of houses in the area during the incident. Nothing was found after a police investigation.
