Leaf Collections Reduced This Year
Here's the schedule for remaining leaf collections this year.
Leaf collection began this week in Haddonfield. But fewer collection days are scheduled this year and some neighborhoods are already down to just two more.
Borough budget woes forced the cutbacks, which may be particularly hard felt in a borough with more than 10,000 trees, and that's just the ones on public right of ways.
Here are the remaining leaf collection days.

- Monday’s trash route – Nov. 14 and Nov. 28
- Tuesday’s trash route – Nov. 16 and Nov. 30
- Wednesday’s trash route – Nov. 4, Nov 18 and Dec. 2
- Thursday’s trash route – Nov. 7, Nov. 21 and Dec. 5
- Friday’s trash route – Nov. 9, Nov. 23 and Dec. 7
"After the leaf trucks have completed three passes, all leaves must be placed in recyclable paper bags or in cans marked for vegetative waste," according to the borough website. "Vegetative waste will be picked up the third full week of each month from November through March.
"The chipper will not be out for the month of November and December. It will resume its normal schedule (the first week of each month) in January."
