HILLSBOROUGH: Deceased Vietnam Veteran Honored In D.C.

Deceased Hillsborough resident and Vietnam Veteran Ricky J. Loften was one of 166 veterans whose names were added to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund’s In Memory walkway around the Vietnam War Memorial two weeks ago.
Although he did not die in battle, complications from chemicals used in the war are what contributed to Loften’s passing in 2011, according to The Hillsborough Beacon.
