All Of Jersey City's 20th Anniversary 9/11 Ceremonies
Several memorials and ceremonies will be held throughout the day to honor the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Saturday marks the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks in the U.S. In the World Trade Center in Manhattan, 2,606 people died in the twin towers. There were 33 Jersey City residents who died in the attacks.
This year, Jersey City will host several events and ceremonies to honor the memory of all victims and hear from survivors 20 years later.
Here is a list of the scheduled ceremonies and events in chronological order:

- The city is hosting a memorial service at 8:30 a.m. at the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway at Grand Street.
- A memorial ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. at the 9/11 Memorial Fountain in Journal Square. The ceremony will be hosted by Hudson Media Group.
- A remembrance ceremony will be held at the Empty Sky memorial in Liberty State Park at 2 p.m.
- A Concert in Remembrance will be performed at 6 p.m. by the NJ Army National Guard's 63rd Army Band at the J. Owen Grundy Pier at Exchange Place.
