Conveyor Belt Sushi Bar Coming To Jersey City
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is planning to open on Washington Boulevard in Newport.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City residents will soon be able to pick their sushi rolls right off the belt at a new incoming restaurant in Newport.
Kura Sushi, a Japan-based chain, will open at 525 Washington Boulevard, according to the chain's website. The only other New Jersey location for the chain is in Fort Lee.
The revolving sushi bar includes specialty rolls like the salmon golden crunch roll as well as classic salmon and tuna rolls, among other things. Plates start at $2.95. This will be the first conveyor belt sushi bar in Jersey City.

Kura opened in 1977 and has over 450 locations across Japan, Taiwan, and the United States.
