Free National Night Out Activities Planned In 4 Jersey City Parks Tuesday

"Food, games, prizes and more" will be available at Jersey City's annual National Night Out Against Crime.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Each year, residents across America sit on their porches or attend community fairs to stand up against crime and get to know their local police.

Jersey City has observed National Night Out Against Crime for 40 years in a row. This will be 41.

The events will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday night.

"Join us for America’s night out against crime!" the city said in an announcement. "In 4 Jersey City Parks: Audubon Park, Pershing Field, Arlington Park, and Hamilton Park. Food, games, prizes and more! See you there."
