Jersey City Activities Coming Up For The Kids This Week

From outdoor boxing classes to roller skating, there's plenty to do.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — School is out, and the kids are stirring around in the house — luckily, there are plenty of things to do in Jersey City.

While the splash pads and pools are open summer long, there are several clinics and activities that are totally dry to bring the kids to.

The roller rink at Pershing Field is open Thursday through Sunday, 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays and 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekends. Roller skates are $4 and inline skates are $5. The rink is closed on city holidays.

Outdoor boxing clinics are underway at Berry Lane Park. Boys and girls train together in the same age and weight range. Sign-ups are available online and the clinics end on August 13.

Basketball clinics are also back at Berry Lane and Pavonia Parks for youth ages 4-14. Sign up is available online.

Movies in the Park happens each week at a different park in the city. Jumanji will be showing at Ercel Web Park on Friday.
