Jersey City Drunken Driver Ran Red Light, Hit 3 People
The woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after she ran a red light and drove into a group of people on the sidewalk.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A Jersey City woman was intoxicated with an open container of alcohol in her car when she crashed into a group of people on Friday night, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
Michelle Grahm, 25, ran a red light on Friday around 5:30 p.m. and drove onto the sidewalk on Ocean Avenue between Claremont and Orient Avenues, into a group of people, injuring three, according to the HCPO. She was issued a motor vehicle summonses for driving while intoxicated, driving while unlicensed/suspended and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
All three pedestrians – a 51-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman and a 26-year-old woman – were taken to the Jersey City Medical Center for their injuries. Graham was also taken to the JCMC on a complaint of pain.

According to the HCPO the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed.
