Jersey City Police Investigate Two Shootings
A shooting on Sunday and another on Monday are under investigation.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City police are investigating two shootings that happened nearly back to back this weekend.
On Sunday night, police were called to Jersey City Medical Center for a report of a shooting victim. Jersey City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said a 26-year-old man was taken into the hospital with a gunshot wound but was in stable condition — the man was very uncooperative with police, she said.
On Monday afternoon police were called to Monticello Avenue and Belmont Street for a report of shots fired. No injuries were reported.
