3 Move Large Drug Quantities Through Bergen, Charged: Police
A group of three men were charged in connection with 32 pounds of marijuana and "magic mushrooms" found in police searches, cops said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A trio was accused of moving bulk drug shipments through the area, according to local authorities.
Anthony Nunez, 32, of New York, Jose Castro-Lopez, 34, of Lodi; and Gabriel Guzman, 28, of Saddle Brook, were caught with a total of about 32 pounds of marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms during a search, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Nunez was found with 14 pounds of weed and the "magic mushrooms," while Castro-Lopez had three pounds of weed, and Guzman had 15 pounds, along with hashish and mushrooms, Musella said.

A search was conducted on Nunez' and Castro-Lopez' car, and the now-defendants were arrested on scene. A search was also executed at Guzman's home, the prosecutor's office said.
Nunez, Castro-Lopez and Guzman were each charged with multiple drug distribution offenses, and were released on their own recognizance, pending an initial court appearance, the prosecutor said.
