Nine Paramus Students Earn Regional Recognition in Music

Last month, 10 musicians from Paramus High School were named to the, 85-member, Bergen County Band.

On Monday evening the Paramus Board of Education took a moment during their meeting to recognize the achievements of nine musicians who received various honors.

• Joseph Bacich – All North Jersey Region, (Wind Ensemble)
• Inkyung Juliette Chu – All North Jersey Region, (Symphonic Band); New Jersey All State Wind Ensemble; New Jersey All State Orchestra
• Bryan Ryu – All North Jersey Region, (Symphonic Band)
• Matilda Zhang – All North Jersey Region, (Orchestra)
• Dahee Lee – All North Jersey Region, (Woodwind Chmber Ensemble)
• Blu Isaiah Frankel – All North Jersey Region, (Choir)
• Joshua LeRose – All North Jersey Region, (Choir)
• Alison Wolfer – All North Jersey Region, (Choir)
• Drishna Patel – All North Jersey Region, (Percussion Ensemble)

The board also acknowledged Band Director Mark Donellan, Orchestra Director Judy Wilkes, Choir Director Stevie Rawlings and Supervisor of Fine, Performing and Practical Arts Lisa Vartanian for their efforts.
