Bergen Man, Dog Die In 3-Car Collision In NY State: Police
Police are investigating the crash, in which three vehicles collided "for unknown reasons," and are asking the public for information.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A 20-year-old from Bergen County and his dog died in a multi-car crash in New York State, according to authorities.
Cyrus Silverio, of Hackensack, was declared dead at the scene of the three-vehicle crash at about 10 p.m. Thursday on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, New York State Police said.
Silverio was driving a BMW when he crashed with another BMW and a Nissan SUV near exit 10 on the parkway in Clarkstown. All of the vehicles, which collided "for unknown reasons," came to rest in the southbound lanes, police said.
