RIDGEFIELD, NJ - A body was found by workers after a fire at the site of a former bed and breakfast in Bergen County Wednesday, according to multiple reports.

Firefighters responded to a blaze at the shuttered Toddle Inn on Broad Avenue about 2:20 a.m., per NorthJersey.com. The inn, which has been vacant for months, was engulfed in flames upon arrival.

The body was found as workers searched for remains after the fire was extinguished, according to News12 New Jersey. The inn was slated to be torn down in two weeks to make way for a housing project.
