'James Gandolfini Day' Coming Up At NJ Hall Of Fame In Bergen County

Celebrate "Tony Soprano" this weekend: James Gandolfini Legacy Day at the NJ Hall of Fame will look at the actor's life and work.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The New Jersey Hall of Fame is hosting James Gandolfini Legacy Day this Sunday, celebrating the "Sopranos" actor's life and work with special events.

Gandolfini, a native of Park Ridge and a 2014 inductee into the Hall of Fame, died in Italy in 2013.

The Hall of Fame is located in the American Dream complex in East Rutherford.

The presentation on Sunday will be "a celebration of the life, work, and enduring legacy of beloved actor," say organizers. "Join us as we welcome Gandolfini’s family and friends to reflect on his remarkable work and support of veterans' causes and breast cancer research."

The event will take place starting at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Highlights will include a screening of "James Gandolfini: A Tribute to a Friend."
