Horse Trailer, Funeral Vehicle Involved In Crash On Route 17: Paramus Police
A horse trailer and a funeral home vehicle were among the vehicles involved in an accident on Route 17 South Friday, Paramus Police said.
PARAMUS, NJ — A horse trailer and a funeral home vehicle were among the vehicles involved in an accident on Route 17 on Friday, Paramus Police said.
The accident happened on Route 17 South near Route 4 on Friday afternoon.
Police said a corpse, which was wrapped in a sheet, fell onto the highway. The body was coming from a hospital and was not damaged, according to the New York Post.

Three people went to the hospital with non-serious injuries after the crash, police said. The horse got out of its trailer after the crash, and was not hurt. Police photos show someone standing with the horse on the side of the road, waiting for another ride.
The road was closed for some time after the crash.
