New Bergen County Bakery Opens With Free Goodies, Meals Through Saturday
The first NJ location of an NYC-based bakery will hold a "3-day soft opening" in Bergen County this weekend with free meals.
FORT LEE, NJ – Angelina Bakery, a New York City bakery known for Italian-inspired pastries and signature bomboloni, planned to soft open its first New Jersey store in Fort Lee this week.
The store planned a "three-day soft opening" at its new 142 Linwood Plaza location starting Thursday (April 17).
They said their three-day soft opening event will feature complimentary meals:

- Thursday: Free dinner, 5-8 p.m.
- Friday: Free lunch, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Saturday: Free breakfast, 7-10 a.m.
Among the items they'll sell are Korean delicacies, dessert lattes, and pinsa, a Roman-style flatbread made with a special blend of wheat, soy, and rice flours. Unlike traditional pizza, Pinsa is lower in gluten, has fewer calories, is easier to digest, and features a crisp, airy texture.
Since opening its original bakery in Hell’s Kitchen Angelina has expanded to several Manhattan neighborhoods, including Times Square, Grand Central, NoMad, the Upper East Side, Herald Square, and 7 Times Square.

“We’re excited to bring the Angelina experience to Fort Lee and share our passion for baking with our new neighbors,” said the team at Angelina Bakery, in a release. “Our New Jersey debut is a milestone in our journey, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our family.”
