EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - A motor vehicle crash and fuel spill in East Rutherford has prompted commuting delays in the area Monday morning, authorities said.

As of 6:03 a.m., there’s a crash and fuel spill on Route 17 southbound north of Route 3 in Rutherford, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

1 left lane is currently closed, the agency said. The exit ramp to Route 3 eastbound is also closed.
