'Seriously Wholesome' Middle Eastern Food Coming To Bergen County

NAYA Middle Eastern Counter & Grill is set to cut the ribbon in early March on its newest location in Bergen County.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A new Bergen County restaurant will "unwrap the taste" of the Middle East, with roasted beef or chicken shawarma and a multitude of other Middle Eastern-style dishes.

NAYA Middle Eastern Counter & Grill is set to hold a grand opening March 3 through 5 at its newest location in Paramus, the restaurant said in a recent release.

Guests are invited to the 305 Route 17 South location to "express themselves" through menu options that feature authentic Middle Eastern flavors and can be personalized to each guest's preferences.

A ribbon cutting will be held at 12:30 p.m. March 3, kicking off a weekend "festival" in which guests are treated to complimentary shawarma (pita sandwiches) or rice bowls, and live entertainment.

Since 2010, the NAYA concept has grown in popularity, with inherited recipes refined for modern diners, and a passion for creating a guest experience that is "as strong as the love for the food itself," the restaurant said.
