Teen Sells Heroin To Undercover Cop, Tries To Flee: Bergen Co. Police

An 18-year-old was caught distributing five bricks of suspected heroin to an undercover officer in Paramus, police said.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — An 18-year-old sold five bricks of suspected heroin on two separate occasions, and then led officers in a short pursuit when caught, local authorities allege.

Naje Brabson, of Paterson, distributed the "bricks," or about 250 individual bags of suspected heroin, to an undercover cop on Tuesday in Paramus. He then tried to flee through multiple parking lots when approached by officers, a prosecutors and a police affidavit said.

Brabson also, on another occasion earlier in the month, distributed the same amount, prosecutors said.

The Passaic County man was arrested and charged with distribution of heroin, and resisting arrest by flight, and was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending an initial court appearance, Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
