PARSIPPANY, NJ—After the number of outages dwindled into the single digits, more than 100 Parsippany residents were again in the dark Tuesday night, nearly one week after Tropical Storm Isaias ravaged New Jersey and hours before JCP&L's self-imposed deadline to restore service.

The utility gave an estimated time of power restoration of 10:30 p.m. for the 112 PArsippany customers, just an hour short of the deadline the company gave last week, when hundreds of thousands in the area were without electricity.

Morris County reported 342 outages on Tuesday night, with Denville's 219 the most in the county.
