'Tireless Effort:' Parsippany Student Raises 4K-Plus For PPE

PARSIPPANY, NJ—When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Sushmita, who nominated Riya Dadheech of Parsippany. Riya, a rising freshman, founded a successful non-profit to help front line workers.

- Reason for recognition: When COVID-19 struck, instead of locking inside home, Riya, a rising high school student launched "Classes 4 A Cause", raised over $4000 and supported our community. Riya delivered PPEs to Front Line responders and food to local Food pantries.
