Union Co. Man Arrested In Connection With Drug Store Robbery: Police

The robber entered the pharmacy wearing a face mask, pointed a knife at an employee and stole $800 in cash, according to Linden Police.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — A 29-year-old man from Linden was arrested after an armed robbery that took place at a local drugstore in November, according to an announcement from the Linden Police Department on Wednesday.

Travis Price was arrested and charged with robbery for his alleged role in a robbery at Park Drugs in Linden on Nov. 16, 2021. The robber reportedly entered the pharmacy wearing a face mask, walked behind the counter, and while pointing a knife at an employee, demanded money from the cash register.

The man took approximately $800 in cash, according to police, before running out of the store before police arrived.

A three-month investigation by the Linden Police Department Detective Bureau identified Price as the suspect. Price was charged with first-degree robbery, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree weapons possession.

Price was arrested at Linden Police Headquarters on Thursday and was sent to Union County Jail, pending a scheduled appearance in Superior Court.
