Union County Liquor Store Sells $50K Lottery Ticket

UNION COUNTY, NJ — A lucky lottery player won a $50K prize after purchasing a ticket from Aarti's World Discount Liquor in Union County.

The player's ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn at Monday's drawing, scoring them the $50K third-tier prize. Aarti's World Discount Liquor is located at 1675 Route 22 in Union.

The winning numbers for Monday's drawing were: 02, 36, 37, 45, and 69. The Red Power Ball number was 03, and the Power Play was 2X.

12,101 New Jersey players took home an estimated $65,124 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot rolled to $45,000,000 for Wednesday's drawing.
