Attempted Car Theft In Summit Friday Morning: Police

SUMMIT, NJ — An attempted car theft occurred on Canoe Brook Parkway Friday morning, according to an alert from Summit Police at around 10 a.m.

Police said the suspects were driving a black BMW X 5 with black rims and a magnet on the rear of the car.

The suspect car was last seen heading toward Iris Road, police said. Residents are advised to call 911 immediately if seen.
