Summit PD Has Opening For Bilingual Cop
There is a May 31 deadline to submit an application and other materials for the police officer job opening.

After some recent resignations and staff reorganization this year, the force is looking to hire another officer. And according to the job announcement, the department is looking for someone to speak the language of one of Summit's largest minority populations, Hispanics.

Requirements: U.S. Citizen, 18 yrs old, 60 college credits, PTC or Alternate Route Certification, pass background check, psychological screening, medical exam & drug screen.
Ability to speak fluent Spanish a plus which will be tested.
