Summit's Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
On Monday the parade kicks off by the Bouras Building on Beachwood Road, ending with a ceremony to honor the fallen at the Village Green.
Please join us for Summit’s annual Memorial Day parade starting at 10 AM on Monday, May 28th. The parade, featuring the American Legion, the police and fire departments and the Band, will start on Beechwood Road by the Bouras Building, proceed down Beechwood Road to Springfield Avenue to Maple Street and on to the Village Green.
Veterans will hand out flags to children, and various local organizations will march with the parade to show their support for those who died serving our nation.
There will be a short ceremony at the Village Green following the parade, and the Elks Club will provide hot dogs and drinks to those who attend. Hope to see you there!
