For those looking for a fun activity in the snowy weather, there are many hills for sledding in the Summit area.

SUMMIT, NJ — With all the snow on the ground after Saturday's storm, it's the perfect time to grab a sled and head out to one of the many hills in Summit.

Depending on whether residents are looking for a mild, beginner's hill or a steeper, adventurous hill there are a few options in and around Summit, according to Amy Cairns — the Chief Communications Officer for Summit.

For beginners, the hill by the Summit Community Center at 100 Morris Avenue is a good starting hill. In addition, the hill at Jefferson Elementary School is perfect for a mild, but fun sledding experience.
