2 Found Dead In Bergen County Home: Prosecutor

Two people were found dead Wednesday at a home in Bergen County, the prosecutor's office said.

FORT LEE, NJ — Two people were found dead in a home in Fort Lee after a wellness check, prosecutors said Thursday.

Just after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the Fort Lee Police Department was called to check a house on 14th Street, said Deputy Chief Jeff Angermeyer of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Police found two people were unresponsive. Ultimately they were pronounced dead, he said.

The prosecutor's office and Fort Lee police are investigating, he said. No further details have been released.
