Snow In Bergen County: See New Timeline For Monday

Bergen County may see light snow Monday, while points south get more. See the forecast and links to track the storm.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A predicted coastal snowstorm for the Northeast may drop an inch or two on Bergen County this Monday, forecasters say.

Here are the forecasts for different parts of the county, with links for updates:

  • Up north in Mahwah, the NWS says that for Monday, there's a 60 percent chance of "light" snow. If it falls, it should end by 4 p.m. Less than a half inch is expected. See updates here.
  • Closer to Ridgewood, there's a 70 percent chance of snow, the NWS says, mainly between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Less than an inch is expected. See updates to that forecast here.
  • What about closer to the coast, like in Edgewater? The NWS says there's a 70 percent chance of light snow before 4 p.m. Less than an inch is expected. Updates are here.

The southern tip of the state is expected to get more, with many schools in Cape May and Atlantic counties closed.
