Monday Manual: What's Happening In Westfield This Week?

WESTFIELD, NJ — Welcome to the March 28 edition of the Monday Manual, where we highlight important events coming up during the week in Westfield.
Westfield Historic Preservation Commission Meeting
Westfield's Historic Preservation meeting will be held on Monday at 7:30 p.m. virtually through Zoom. According to the agenda, the committee will vote on a new chair, vice chair and secretary, as well as provide a series of updates.

Yoga Storytime At The Library

Westfield Memorial Library is hosting a yoga storytime for kids ages 2 to 4 on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
"Yoga comes to life as we read simple stories and act them out in Yoga poses," the event description says. "Hop like a frog, slither like a snake, and roar like a lion!"
Afternoon LEGO Club
The library is also hosting a LEGO building program on Wednesday from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for kids ages 6 and up.

Westfield Board of Health Meeting
The Board of Health will meet up on Monday, April 4 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at Council Conference Room on the 1st floor.

Planning Board Meeting
Also on Monday, the planning board will meet up in person at Town Hall. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Board of Education Meeting
Lastly, Westfield's BOE will hold a meeting on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Westfield High School's cafeteria. All board meetings are also live streamed on the district's YouTube page.
At the previous meeting, the board announced it will have to layoff some staff due to budget cuts.
