Westfield Ranks In Top 20 Best NJ Towns To Live In: Niche
Westfield's public schools and welcoming suburban feel put it among the best places to live in New Jersey in 2022, according to Niche.

WESTFIELD, NJ — With its top-notch school system and vibrant downtown, Westfield was rated one of the best towns to live in, according to Niche.com.
Niche released its "2022 Best Places To Live In New Jersey" list Monday, and Westfield ranked #13 out of 647 places to live in the state. Westfield was ranked higher than any other town in Union County, with Summit trailing closely behind at #18.
The Best Places to Live ranking is a comprehensive assessment of the overall livability of an area, according to Niche. This grade takes into account several factors, such as the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics and access to amenities.

In the breakdown of ranking, Niche gave Westfield an A+ for its public schools, A+ for "good for families," an A- for nightlife, B for housing, B for crime and safety and B for diversity. Its lowest grade was a C+ for cost of living.
