Hillsdale Accepts Emergency Equipment
The borough's council voted to accept an ambulance and trailer during their meeting this week.

The Hillsdale Council passed two ordinances during their meeting this week to accept donated emergency equipment.
The council voted 5-1 to accept a 1989 Ford Econoline ambulance for the Hillsdale Fire Department to use as a rehabilitation area and for equipment storage and transportation. The ambulance wad donated by River Vale and the Pascack Valley Fireman's Association.
They also voted unanimously to accept a 2005 Gulf Stream Coach Trailer donated by the Roselle Park Police Department. The trailer will be used by the borough's Office of Emergency Management as a mobile command post for dangerous weather and other crises.
