Knights of Columbus Holding Charity Picnic Sunday

The annual picnic in Washington Township will benefit soldiers overseas and local charities.

Mother Seton Council #5427 of the Knights of Columbus will once again host its Annual Charity Picnic on Sunday. Open to everyone, this rain or shine event will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the K of C Pfliegler Pavilion and Picnic Grove in the rear of 79 Pascack Road, Washington Township. This year half of all the profits will go to charities that benefit our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. The other half will go to local charities. K of C member Knights volunteer their time and energies for all charitable events.

The festivities will include lots of activities for children and adults. The menu will include flank steak, BBQ ribs, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage and peppers, clams on the half shell, salad, watermelon, soft drinks, coffee, and adult beverages.
