Madison Ave. Closing, Flu Clinic, Zoning Changes This Week

Here's a look at the week ahead in Westwood, Washington Township and Hillsdale.

The Westwood Council is scheduled to discuss a plan to close Madison Avenue near Washington and Third Avenues during their meeting this week.

The council previously voted in favor of proceeding with a plan to close the street and widen Madison Avenue and Third Avenue to add more parking. Park Avenue, which is currently a one-way street between Third and Second Avenue, will be made a two-way street.

Borough engineer Stephen Boswell is expected to discuss a revision to traffic flow during the council's meeting this week.
