Man Struck By NJ Transit Train In Westwood: Authorities
The incident occurred just east of the Westwood Train Station around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

WESTWOOD, NJ – A man was sent to the hospital late Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a New Jersey Transit train in Westwood, according to authorities.
At 4:27 p.m., Pascack Valley Line train #1632, which left Spring Valley, NY at 3:46 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Hoboken at 4:03 p.m., hit a man just east of the train station in Westwood, said Kate Thompson, a spokeswoman with NJ Transit.
He was taken to a local hospital with “unknown, non-life threatening injuries,” she said. No injuries were reported to the 45 passengers or crew members on board, Thompson said.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
Following the collision, service was delayed for about two hours on the line, according to tweets from NJ Transit.
