Bergen County 'Clear The Shelter' Event Continues Sunday
See this link to find out which dogs, cats, and rabbits are up for adoption in Bergen County.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Across the country, shelters have been finding animals with notes on their collar, saying they were loved but their owners couldn't afford to keep them. Closer to home, shelters in North Jersey have experienced a spike in owners surrendering their pets. And that means shelters are filling up.
The Bergen County Animal Shelter is planning a two-day event this weekend to encourage local pet lovers to adopt and give their wards a "fur-ever home."
