Student Art Gallery Open Through Monday at Ramapo HS

Dozens of students from Ramapo and Indian Hills have their artwork on display at the District Art Show.

Nearly 100 pieces of artwork created by students from both Ramapo High School and Indian Hills High School are currently on display at Ramapo High School. The Ramapo Indian Hills Art Program involves students of all ages and covers everything from introductory classes to honors and advanced placement art.

“The opening went very well, we had a nice turnout. It was a very good event and we had a lot of parents and students from both schools stop by,” said Ramapo-Indian Hills Art Teacher Sean Quirk.

The artistic creations will be on display through Monday.

“I think the kids were proud that people came to see their work. Especially the upper level kids who put so much into their art. I think they were happy to see people showing up and admiring their work," Quirk added.

If your artwork is not featured in our gallery please snap a photo of it and add it to the gallery or email it to rob.heinemann@patch.com. Great job by all involved.
