Thanksgiving Pies Distributed To Wyckoff Families In Need
A collaboration between the Wyckoff Education Foundation and Families for Families enabled distribution of pies to local families in need.

WYCKOFF, NJ — A total of 64 pies (32 each of apple and pumpkin) was donated by the Wyckoff community to help bring joy to local families in need for Thanksgiving.
Pies were collected as part a second-annual drive organized by Wyckoff Education Foundation to then be dropped off at the nonprofit Families for Families' food pantry for its Thanksgiving Dinner program.
Based on last year's success, the foundation expanded the goal this year and was able to add pies to almost all meals being distributed at the food pantry over the weekend.

The vision of this collaboration between the two entities came from one of the foundation's trustees, Paul Telesca, who suggested that the foundation offer the community the ability to purchase buys to be donated on their behalf to the pantry.
"It was a great partnership," Cristyn Madley, President of Families for Families said. "Through the generosity of the community, we are able to provide families in need with a special treat for the holiday, and (the foundation) is able to raise money for Wyckoff schools."

Wyckoff President Dana Casale said she was thrilled with the program's success, and that she looks forward to working with them again in the future.
“We could not be happier with the outpouring of support from the Wyckoff community," Casale said. "It was an absolute pleasure to support a local Thanksgiving Dinner program and work with Cristyn and her amazing team at Families for Families."
