Everyone is Irish today — and restaurants across the area are celebrating with a mix of Irish food, drink, music, and other festivities. Add any additional events that you may know about to this list by commenting on the article below.

  • Stop by the  all day for all of your favorite traditional Irish fair – corned beef and cabbage, Guiness stew, and more. MB&G will also have live bag pipers throughout the day, and giveaways to celebrate.
  • The  is hosting the band The Kootz, bagpipers and drummers starting at 6 p.m. All day today, and through Sunday, the Jar will be serving an Irish menu, complete with Guiness burgers, Guiness beef stew, shepherd’s pie, and drink specials.
  • The  has Irish specials all over it’s menu - corned beef and cabbage, shepherd’s pie, and more. Stop by between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. for drink specials to celebrate.
  •  is going Irish for St. Patrick’s Day. Stop by for a slice or pie of corned beef and cabbage pizza.
  • Go Green today by stopping at Brady’s At the Station in Ramsey. The eatery will be celebrating with their annual Brady’s St. Patrick’s Day menu specials, bagpipers at 6 p.m. and Irish musicians at 8 p.m.
  • If you are shopping for the ingredients to prepare your own corned beef and cabbage tonight, you may want to do it at the Whole Foods in Ridgewood. From 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. the store is hosting a “Kid’s Activity: Decorate a Shamrock Cookie!” Kids can have fun while you shop, and proceeds from the event go to the Whole Planet Foundation.
  • Thatcher McGhee's in Pompton Lakes offers the quintessential Irish experience under its thatched roof. WDHA will be broadcasting live from the restaurant, which is serving a traditional Irish breakfast with Coors light starting at 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. The celebration continues throughout the day. 
  •   in Ridgewood will be serving their famous St. Patrick's Day dinner which includes traditional Irish fare like Shepherd's Pie, Corned Beef and more.
  • The Brick House in Wyckoff is having live music  provided by Josh & Liza who'll be covering Top 40 hits to celebrate St. Patrick's Day beginning at 7 p.m.
