Bless Your Mutt In Bergen County, But Not This Weekend

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — "Bless your heart" may be a veiled insult, but bless your mutt (or kitty) is something positive you can do with your pet.

Originally, Calvary Lutheran Church in Allandale had scheduled a blessing of the animals this Sunday, followed by a picnic.

But late Friday, they said they were postponing the event until October, due to the impending Tropical Storm Ophelia (which you can track here).

At their blessings, you can bring a dog, cat, bird, other pet, or a photo of a pet.
