FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ – Franklin Lakes police responded to several incidents on Oct. 8 including a reported burglary.

  • 9:33 PM – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rt 208, Francis Dorsch age 51 of Butler, NJ was arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine and Heroin. PO Eric Rosado was the arresting officer.
  • 2:34 PM - As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Franklin Avenue, Awen Al-Matarneh age 20 of Clifton, NJ was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Illegal Possession of a Stun Gun. PO Christopher O’Brien was the arresting officer.
  • 6:32 AM – A Longbow Dr resident reported that during the overnight, unknown persons burglarized the residence. Entry was gained by breaking a rear slider door. The primary focus of the burglary was the master bedroom. A yet to be determined amount of jewelry and handbags were taken. The Bergen County Sheriff’s Department BCI Unit processed the crime scene. Sgt. Andrew Caccatore, PO Gerard Gansel, PO Ryan Sweeney and Det. Jon Rynander investigated.
