Wyckoff Doctor Who Practiced In Town For Half A Century Dies

WYCKOFF, NJ — A doctor who practiced in Wyckoff for 52 years passed away last month at age 90, his obituary says. A memorial service will be held later this month.

The obituary says that Salvatore Baldino, 90, died on Feb. 19 surrounded by family, at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. "He was a devoted husband and father, a veteran, and a practicing physician in Wyckoff, NJ for 52 years," the obit says.

He's still listed on medical websites and in U.S. News as a general internal medicine doctor, treating adults. He got his medical degree at New York University, the sites say.

On a memorial page, a Wyckoff woman wrote, "Doctor Baldino was the most knowledgeable, caring, loving doctor I have ever known."

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, March 19, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's church in Wyckoff. Read the obituary here.
