Energy-Saving Efforts In Wyckoff Recognized With Silver Certification

A statewide certification program recognized Wyckoff for "sustainability excellence," and awarded the township a silver-level certification.

WYCKOFF, NJ — In recognition of Wyckoff's efforts to promote sustainability across key aspects of governance and in the community, the township was awarded Sustainable Jersey's Silver-Level Certification at a recent ceremony.

As one of 81 municipalities certified in 2022, Wyckoff committed to sustainability through the efforts of the Environmental Commission (Green Team), and completed seven of the 14 priority actions, four more than what was required.

For reference, Sustainable Jersey's participating communities represent more than 82% of the state's municipalities. Consistent with Wyckoff's actions to comply with the certification program's sustainability requirements, the township earned 40 more points than the minimum 350 points.
