In Wyckoff, three candidates are vying for the seat currently held by Jeff Brown, who is not seeking re-election. The candidates will be Isabelle Lanini, Kenneth A. Porro, and Sabaudin Skenderi.
The Oakland seats will go uncontested, with incumbents Sadie Quinlan and Jane Castor retaining their seats.
Brown told Patch that he is not seeking re-election due to a busy work load and family life that may prevent him from giving the position the full attention it deserves.

"It it has been truly a rewarding experience. I am proud of the RIH schools and the education they provide to the students of our District."
This year's election falls on a Wednesday rather than a Tuesday, which is when elections have traditionally been held.
