Franklin Lakes Hires Recreation Director

Franklin Lakes has appointed a longtime coach as the borough’s new recreation director, according to report by Northjersey.com.

Jason Robinson, a ten-year resident of Franklin Lakes, will fill the position resigned in June by John Ciurciu.

Robinson, who previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry, will begin Aug. 26 and earn an annual salary of $65,000.

“His enthusiasm was impressive and infectious,” Councilman Joe Kelly, the recreation liaison, told the Record. “We think that these qualities, together with his exceptional people skills, will make him very successful in this role and an attribute to our Franklin Lakes recreation community.”
