WYCKOFF, NJ — Got a pet cat or dog?

You need to renew their license annually, and also make sure their vaccinations are up to date, including rabies, a disease that's always fatal to humans (unless someone gets a series of painful shots right away).

Wyckoff announced last week that it has begun its licensing process for 2025. People can get a 2025 license through March 31, 2025, and can also get one after, but there's a late fee.

The town is also holding a free rabies vaccination clinic on that day.

In Wyckoff, dogs must be licensed within 10 days of acquiring one. Cats must be vaccinated and licensed by 7 months of age. Find out more details and rules about the licensing here and below.
