High Point Monument, Sussex County

"High Point Monument rises over 220 feet above the New Jersey Highlands and provides panoramic views of three states. In the fall, forests of maple, oak, and birch create an undulating patchwork."

Ramapo Mountain Overlook, Mahwah, Bergen County

"From this spot, rolling hardwood hills are interspersed with evergreen pines, creating strong contrasts in October. The overlook also captures views of small lakes and reservoirs that mirror the autumn hues, giving a layered effect of color, water, and mountain silhouette."

Watchung Reservation Overlook, Mountainside

The Watchung Reservation has several elevated points that offer views over the surrounding forested hills.
