Harry Carson Helmet Up For Auction, Housewives Support PPD and More

Manzo resigns from Water Commission, RHONJ crosses paths with Celebrity Rehab, and other Franklin Lakes Famous news.

The newest Real Housewives of New Jersey* are showing their support a good cause: postpartum depression. On April 7, Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile are expected to attend the What Women Want event at 4Sixty6 Club in West Orange, benefiting Postpartum Progress, Inc.

The event will have more than 40 vendors from the metropolitan area showcasing the best of their 2011 collections. Guests will enjoy massages, beverages, and tarot card readings while shopping the latest fashion trends in fashion, jewelry, handbags, shoes, beauty and spa products, plus be able to trade in gold jewelry for cash.  Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at thesassyshopgirlevents.com.

In other RHONJ news, Caroline's husband Al Manzo resigned from his post on the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission Monday, The Record reported. Manzo came under fire from Gov. Chris Christie last month for allegedly using his Paterson business address instead of his home address on the application for the commission.

In reports from other media organizations, Manzo reportedly stated that he has always kept an apartment in Paterson and is a Passaic County boy at heart. He resigned from the post stating the scandal  caused "the commission to incur unnecessary legal expenses." Fellow commissioner Michael Cricco  also resigned.

In Housewives gossip, Kim Granatell is reportedly dating Michael Lohan. (A picture of the couple making out has gone viral.) Lohan has been cast for season five of Celebrity Rehab, and will be in treatment alongside former Franklin Lakes resident retired Mets pitcher Dwight Gooden, DC Houswife Michaele Salahi and Long Island Lolita Amy Fisher.
