Why Go: Spring is in the air!  Buy garden plants that are specially chosen to attract birds, butterflies and hummingbirds to your backyard.  All purchases go towards raising money for the sanctuary’s butterfly garden and backyard habitat projects.

Primping for Piercy Cut-a-Thon
Where/When: Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at I Luv Lucy's Salon, 6 Elm St, Oakland.
Why go: All proceeds to benefit the Mark Piercy Cancer Fund. Piercy is a detective with the Oakland Police Department
Pricing: Women's Cuts  $20, Men and Children $10, Manicures $10 and Waxing $6. 

The Watercoolers: A Musical Comedy About the Office
Where/When: Saturday 8 pm; Ramapo College Berrie Center, Sharp Theater 505 Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah 201-684-7500
Why Go: If you have a job, you’ll love the Watercoolers!  With original songs, musical parodies and comic sketches, New York-based comedy group The Watercoolers lampoons the workplace.

Mommy & Me Afternoon Tea Party

Disney's Imagination Movers
Where/When: Bergen Performing Arts Center, 30 North Van Brunt St., Englewood; Friday, April 29 at 3:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Spring Fling Carnival in Fair Lawn

Oradell's Art in the Park
Where/When:  Sunday 10 am to 5 pm; Memorial Field, corner of Prospect and Oradell Avenue

Stage Left Charity Fashion Show
Where/When: Saturday, 6:30 to 9 p.m. at , 828 Franklin Ave, Franklin Lakes.
Why Go: RHONJ's Teresa Guidice and her daughters will be walking in a charity fashion show featuring some of Stage Left's spring and summer fashions. A portion of the proceeds raised will go to the March of Dimes foundation, plus all women’s clothing is 50 percent off and all children’s clothing is 20 percent off.  RSVP by April 29 to info@stageleftusa.com.

Real Housewives of New Jersey Bus Tour 
Where/When: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bus boards in Wayne.

March for Babies Walk
Where/When:  Sunday, 8 a.m. registration, 9 a.m. walk, at Darlington County Park in Mahwah. 
Why Go: Raise money for the March of Dimes to benefit programs, such as Healthy Babies are Worth the Wait, a community outreach program aimed to reduce elective c-sections before 39 weeks gestation for adequate brain, heart and lung development.
